Jamie is not only a chef, she also specializes in event and wedding coordination as well as unique wedding and party design. Using an extremely talented and artistic team, she can handle all arrangements for your event. Sea Stars will act as your wedding planner on a full scale planning level or as a partial wedding planner if you like to handle some of the details. Seas Stars is very familiar with local Big Sur, Monterey, Santa Cruz county vendors and will find the right fit for all of your party needs. Sea Stars also has great relationships with unique and high level vendors up and down the coast of California with the ability to source in vintage rentals of all types, custom built teepees and incredible Sperry sailcloth tents, custom made artwork and party decorations, hand painted linens, talented photographers, creative lighting, musicians, letterpress stationers and of course cover the basics such as help with guests accommodations and travel questions, wedding timelines, rehearsal party, kitchen rentals, flooring, heating, electric, shuttle services and much more. Chef Jamie and staff will travel to your home and act as your own personal, private chef, preparing a meal (or meals!) catered to your exact tastes and help you to celebrate that special occasion, be it a holiday, birthday, elopement, post engagement dinner or just a family get together where you would rather have someone step in and do all the cooking and cleaning FOR you! Using our own 30 foot long, fully equipped, self sustaining and coded mobile kitchen, Sea Stars can travel to any destination, preparing dishes from local ingredients found in every town on your tour. For a more economic tour, we can arrange to travel as a personal chef sans mobile kitchen. Sea Stars Mobile Catering is also available for festivals and backstage hospitality management with years of experience serving and managing hospitality for over 200 bands. 

Also available on request is our 5 foot long charcoal grill on wheels can travel to your location.

With a background as a pastry chef, Chef Jamie will happily work with you to make the cake of your wildest dreams. Using interesting flavor combinations , handcrafted sugar flowers, all organic, whole grain flours and sugars, Sea Stars custom designed cakes are always the highlight of the party!

Sea Stars has a rare collection of vintage and antique platters, bowls, candelabras, teacups, etc. for rent for your special occasion as well as the ability to source out for anything you could imagine for your wedding decor, be it unique rentals of wooden tables, velvet couches, gold flatware, 100year old gold wine goblets, chandeliers, live trees, you name it! Upon request, Sea Stars will handle all sourcing rentals for your party needs including tables, linens, chairs, dishes, tents, lighting, etc for a small fee.

As a certified ROP teacher in the Monterey Unified School District, Chef Jamie and team are available for events and to teach cooking classes specializing in from scratch cooking with an emphases on healthy eating utilizing local, seasonal produce.

Chef Jamie is also available for consulting  for restaurants and other programs and has served as a Chef Consultant for the MPUSD Nutrition Services department for 2012 school year, developing and training staff how to prepare a new, healthy, from scratch, school lunch program for 3000 children throughout the district.
